London- Ridiculously touristy teen activity needed

Exciting Evening Activities for Teens in London: A Quest for Adventure

Searching for engaging and unique activities for teenagers during a family trip to London can be a challenge, especially when you’re looking to avoid the typical tourist traps. Recently, I decided to swap a long day at the Harry Potter studios for an exhilarating experience at a Sherlock Holmes escape room. This decision was met with enthusiasm from my teens, satisfying their desire for something enjoyable and distinct from the usual history tours. Plus, it had the added advantage of condensing our itinerary!

However, I faced a dilemma: this adventure needs to take place on a Monday in July, and to my dismay, the Sherlock Holmes escape room is closed that day. As I continued my search, I discovered that many other attractions, such as the Monopoly Experience and Crystal Maze, are also unavailable. The 18+ restriction at Swingers West End eliminated it from consideration, and unfortunately, my teens have outgrown more child-centric options like Paddington and Shrek.

Now, I’m on the lookout for alternative suggestions for an exciting evening activity that captures the spirit of London and caters to teenagers. If you have any recommendations or hidden gems that you think would be perfect for a Monday evening in July, I would love to hear about them! Let’s make sure we create some memorable experiences that go beyond the ordinary during our visit.
