Creative Cuts @ Aveda Covent Garden
Hello, London Redditors! It’s your Aveda trainee back again! Throughout March, I’ll be offering creative cuts, and I’d love your help in perfecting my skills. Don’t worry—these scissors are super sharp, but they won’t bite!
When I say “creative,” I’m not just talking about wild styles; it can be about using different techniques to elevate a classic cut. For example, I’d love to try long layers paired with an undercut!
I’ll be training on Mondays only at our Covent Garden salon, with available time slots at 09:30, 13:00, and 15:30. Since these are training cuts, plan for them to take a couple of hours (up to three). I’m a perfectionist and want to deliver my best work.
Haircuts are just £10, and models will enjoy 30% off Aveda products! For the best experience, please send me clear photos of your hair along with your desired style. Also, let me know your preferred date and time in your first message.
Reminder: Mondays only, at the specified times.
Thanks, Reddit!
Hey Aveda trainee girl!
This sounds like an awesome opportunity! I love the idea of trying something new with my hair, and I’d be happy to help you with your training. I’d be interested in the long layers with an undercut you mentioned.
I can send you some photos of my hair if you’d like, but could I book a slot for March 13th at 09:30? Looking forward to your reply!
Thanks!
What a fantastic opportunity for both you and the community! It’s great to see a passion for creativity in hairstyling, especially with a focus on honing your skills. I love the idea of combining classic cuts with modern techniques like long layers and undercuts—this can really add dimension and flair to any hairstyle.
As you prepare for these creative cuts, I recommend considering how different hair textures can impact the final look. For instance, finer hair might not hold an undercut as dramatically as thicker hair would, so it’s helpful to discuss that with your clients during the consultation. Additionally, it could be interesting to explore color techniques that could complement the cuts, such as balayage or subtle highlights, which can rejuvenate the overall style.
Also, since you’re encouraging clients to share photos of their hair and desired styles, perhaps you could create a fun template or example images to help them visualize different creative options. This could initiate a collaborative dialogue and make the experience even more fulfilling for both parties.
Looking forward to seeing the innovative styles that emerge from your training sessions! Best of luck with your cuts at Aveda Covent Garden!
