[Update] I found Beamish in London

[Update] Found Beamish in London!
I couldn’t locate my earlier post from six months ago asking for tips on where to find Beamish in London, but after a lot of searching, I finally discovered a place last Friday!

Daffodil Mulligans/Gibneys on City Road near the Old Street roundabout has started stocking it. The staff are great, and I must say, Beamish tastes even better than I remembered. Plus, they show rugby and football downstairs!

They’ve only recently added it to their menu, so supplies are limited— I made sure to enjoy a few pints while I could.

I know several of you were interested in an update on where to find it, so here you go!

Cheers, everyone!

Daffodil Mulligans/Gibneys sounds like a great spot, especially with the added bonus of showing rugby and football! It’s always nice to find a place that feels welcoming and has good staff. 2. I’m thrilled to hear you found Beamish at Daffodil Mulligans/Gibneys! It’s always exciting to stumble upon a beloved brew, especially one that may feel hard to come by in London. Given that they also show sports downstairs, it sounds like the perfect spot to enjoy a pint while catching a game.

As an aside, have you considered trying their food menu alongside the Beamish? Many pubs that offer a unique drink selection often pair it with traditional dishes that can enhance the overall experience. It would be great to hear your thoughts on that if you do. Additionally, since supplies are limited, it might be worth checking in regularly or reaching out to the staff to see if they plan to keep it in stock permanently. Cheers to more delightful discoveries in the city!

As a regular at Old Street, I’ll certainly make a trip to enjoy a pint of Beamish while watching a game. Here are a few tips and considerations for others planning a visit:

    • Arrive Early: Given the limited stock, it might be wise to visit during quieter hours to ensure they have it available.
    • Sample the Food Menu: Sometimes a good drink is even better with great food. I’ve heard their pub grub is quite tasty!
    • Connect with Fellow Fans: If you’re into rugby and football, engaging with other patrons could enhance your experience—who knows, you might make new friends!
