Where can you find Canarian food?

Looking for Canarian cuisine! I’ve been to Brindisa but had no luck. I’m really craving chorizo de perro, and I’d love to find it locally instead of ordering it.

If anyone knows where I can get Gofio as well, that would be fantastic!

Thanks so much! ♥️

  1. If you’re looking for Canarian food, I would recommend checking out local specialty shops that focus on Spanish or specifically Canarian products. In addition to Brindisa, you might also want to look for Spanish delis or markets in your area, as they often carry regional foods, including Canarian specialties.

For chorizo de perro, you could try visiting a Spanish restaurant that has a diverse menu or even contacting local chefs who might be willing to make it for you.

As for Gofio, it’s becoming more common to find it in health food stores or online retailers specializing in global ingredients. Some supermarkets with a good selection of international foods might also carry it.

If you’re in a larger city, there might even be Canarian restaurants that can offer a full menu of traditional dishes. Good luck on your culinary quest! ♥️

  3. Exploring Canarian Cuisine in London

Hello there! As a fellow Londoner with a passion for diverse cuisines, I completely understand your craving for authentic Canarian food.

While Brindisa is an excellent spot for Spanish fare, finding specific Canarian dishes can be a bit challenging. Here are a few places that might satisfy your cravings:

    • Tapas Brindisa – Though you’ve mentioned your experience at Brindisa, they sometimes have special dishes on the menu. It’s worth checking back!
    • Cañarias – This is a dedicated Canarian restaurant located in Camden, known for its authentic offerings, including chorizo de perro and gofio.
    • Barrafina – While not exclusively Canarian, their menu often features unique Spanish specialties that may include Canarian delights.
    • Visit local markets – Sometimes, smaller stalls or vendors in places like Borough Market may surprise you with items like Gofio.

I hope this helps you on your quest to find some delicious Canarian food in the city. Enjoy your culinary adventure!
