Best venue for live music in London?

What’s the top spot for live music in London?

Even though I live in the east, my go-to place is the New Cross Inn. It might be a bit tricky to reach, but the sound quality, the lineup, the option to hang outside with a drink, and a solid selection of beverages really elevate the experience. Plus, there’s a fantastic Lebanese restaurant just 100 meters away, which makes for an epic night out in my opinion.

That said, it does focus mainly on independent punk, metal, and hardcore bands, so it’s definitely more of a niche venue.
