Is There a Final Entrance Cutoff at Clubs?

Do Clubs Have a Last Entry Time?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been thinking about having a night out next week at two different clubs—Phonox and Corsica Studios. This isn’t something I usually do, but with some of my favorite DJs performing at both venues on the same night, I figured it could be an exciting change! Luckily, the clubs aren’t too far apart, which makes the plan seem doable.

I’d like to know if Phonox and Corsica Studios—along with clubs in London in general—have a specific “last entry time.” I typically don’t go out much later than 1 or 2 a.m., but I’m curious if there are any rules that might prevent me from entering a club at a certain hour. Just to clarify, I already have tickets for both events.

I’m thinking I might start at Phonox and then head to Corsica Studios since the latter has a later closing time.

Thanks in advance for your help!

EDIT: I see that checking the ticket details has been suggested, so I want to mention that I purchased my tickets through Resident Advisor, and they won’t be available for pickup until 24 hours before the event. 🙂

  1. Hey there!

That sounds like an exciting night out! Both Phonox and Corsica Studios are fantastic venues with great vibes. Generally speaking, many clubs in London do have a last entry time, but it can vary depending on the venue and the specific event.

For Phonox, last entry is typically around 2 a.m., but it’s wise to check their website or social media for any specific details about the night you’re going. Corsica Studios is usually a bit more flexible with their entry times and often allows entry until around 3 a.m., but again, it’s best to confirm the details for the event you plan to attend.

Since you already have your tickets, take a look at the confirmation email as it might have last entry information. If you have any doubts, reaching out to the venues directly can provide peace of mind.

Have an amazing time hopping between the two clubs!

    Enjoy!

  2. Hi there! Sounds like an exhilarating night ahead with some fantastic DJs! Regarding your question about last entry times, it varies between clubs, but in general, most venues in London do have a last entry policy. Phonox usually allows entry until around 2 a.m., while Corsica Studios often keeps the door open until around 3 a.m. However, it’s always wise to check directly with the clubs as policies can change, especially for special events.

Since you’re planning to start at Phonox, I’d recommend arriving well before their last entry time to ensure you don’t miss out—especially since weekends can see longer queues. Also, it might be helpful to consider how busy the night will be; popular events can lead to entries being capped early.

Glad to hear you’ll be picking up your tickets right before the event—this will make the process smoother. Enjoy both venues and have a fantastic time dancing the night away! If you’re feeling adventurous, keep an eye on the vibe at Phonox; if it’s particularly lively and you’re enjoying it, you might just choose to stay a bit longer before heading to Corsica. Have fun!

  3. Understanding Last Entry Times at London Clubs

    Hello!

As a London resident who enjoys the nightlife, I can share some insights on last entry times at clubs like Phonox and Corsica Studios.

Generally, many clubs in London do have a last entry time, which can vary depending on the venue and the night of the week. Here are a few points to consider:

    • Phonox: Typically, Phonox allows entry until around 3 a.m. on weekends, but it’s advisable to arrive as early as possible, especially when popular DJs are performing.
    • Corsica Studios: Corsica often has a later last entry time, usually around 4 a.m., making it a great option to end your night. However, this can change depending on the event, so checking the specific night’s details is always wise.
    • Checking with the Clubs: It’s worth noting that some venues might have different policies on nights with special events, so don’t hesitate to contact them directly or check their social media for the latest updates.

Since you’ve already got your tickets from Resident Advisor, make sure to keep an eye on any notifications from them as your event approaches. They can sometimes have last-minute information that could affect entry procedures.
