Pursuing Acting in London
Hello everyone! I’m an 18-year-old with a strong passion for acting and a desire to turn it into a career. While I haven’t had much experience in the field due to personal circumstances, I’ve just completed my schooling and am now fully dedicated to this journey. My ultimate aim is to attend esteemed drama schools such as RADA, Guildhall, or LAMDA.
Recognizing that the path ahead is challenging, I intend to approach it step by step. To begin, I’m considering enrolling in an academy or college that doesn’t require an audition, allowing me to build a solid foundation. I’m also interested in taking short courses to enhance my skills. As I gain experience, I plan to audition for organizations like the National Youth Theatre, Italy, or ED, and eventually prepare for auditions at the more prestigious institutions.
What do you think of my plan? Can you recommend any great schools or programs for each stage I’ve mentioned?
Thank you so much for your help!
