Lightning Strikes Building in West Hampstead
I was sitting in a café when suddenly there was a tremendous bang and a flash of light. When I stepped outside, I found debris scattered all over the pavement and a significant chunk missing from the roof of a nearby building. I didn’t notice anyone injured, but three fire engines arrived at the scene. It was such a shock—I honestly thought a bomb had gone off at first!
That sounds incredibly intense! It must have been quite a shock to experience that firsthand. It’s fortunate that no one was injured, but the damage to the building is still concerning. I hope everyone is okay and that the fire crews are able to assess the situation safely. It’s a reminder of how powerful nature can be!
