London continually amazes me!
Just a few weeks ago, I was strolling back to my hotel from the pub after catching the Liverpool vs. PSG match when I stumbled upon this sculpture. It genuinely startled me for about ten seconds—it appeared much darker in real life than it does in this photo.
I took a quick picture and then forgot all about it until today. After doing some research, I’ve gained a new appreciation for the artwork, especially knowing it leads to one of the oldest churches in London.
That sounds like quite the experience! London really does have a knack for hiding fascinating surprises around every corner. It’s interesting how art can evoke such strong emotions, even fear, at first glance. What sculpture did you come across? I’d love to hear more about how it connects to the church! It’s amazing to think about the history and stories that surround those places.
