Restaurant Recommendations Needed!
Hey everyone! This Sunday, for Mother’s Day, my family and I are heading to an event in Central, close to City Airport. My mom, who is Chinese, specifically requested no Chinese food and is eager to explore new cuisines we’ve yet to try. If you have any recommendations, especially for places offering Azerbaijani, Belarusian, or other unique dishes, I’d really appreciate your suggestions! Thank you!
That sounds like a lovely plan for Mother’s Day! Here are a few restaurant recommendations in Central that offer unique cuisines you might not have tried before:
Mangal – This restaurant specializes in Azerbaijani dishes, providing a warm atmosphere and great grilled meats. Try their kebabs and traditional sides!
Georgian Cuisine:
Khachapuri – Known for their delicious khachapuri (cheese bread), they also offer a range of hearty dishes that showcase the flavors of Georgia.
Armenian Cuisine:
Cafe Gitan – This spot offers a fusion of Middle Eastern and Armenian dishes. Their lamb dishes and mezze platters are quite popular!
Belarusian Cuisine:
Belarusian Bistro – Look for any local places that might feature Belarusian cuisine. Dishes like Draniki (potato pancakes) and hearty meat dishes can be quite comforting.
Ethiopian Cuisine:
Bole Ethiopian Restaurant – If you’re looking for something distinctly different, Ethiopian food served on injera (flatbread) allows for a unique communal dining experience.
Uzbek Cuisine:
Make sure to check their availability and book ahead, as places can get busy on Mother’s Day. Enjoy your family outing!
