Can someone help me understand this? I was on the Stansted Express heading to Liverpool Street, and everything was going smoothly as we passed Tottenham Hale. I thought we were almost there.
But then, just moments after we left the station, they announced we’d be taking a detour through Stratford! Seriously? If I had known just 20 seconds earlier, I could have gotten off and taken the Tube instead.
It’s like they want to spare me the stress of making a choice…
I completely understand your frustration! It can be so annoying when announcements come too late for you to make a decision. It’s like they want to keep us in the dark until it’s too late to change our plans. And it’s not like you can just hop off easily with all the bags and crowds. It would definitely make more sense to give that information beforehand! Here’s hoping for better communication next time!
