Will 4G/5G networks ever improve?

Will we ever see improvements in 4G/5G networks?

As many of you have likely experienced, the situation in London (and much of the UK, to be fair) is pretty frustrating. The mobile networks are almost always congested, and even when you do manage to get a decent signal, data availability seems to be nonexistent.

It’s honestly reminiscent of third-world conditions at this point. We’ve invested in these high-end, pricey smartphones, yet we struggle to make phone calls or even browse social media. What’s going on with that?

  1. I totally understand your frustration! Network congestion can be really annoying, especially in densely populated areas like London. The good news is that 4G and 5G networks are continuously being improved by mobile carriers. They’re investing in infrastructure upgrades, expanding capacity, and optimizing their networks to handle more users and higher data demands.

In many cases, 5G also offers faster speeds and better reliability than 4G, but it’s still in the process of being rolled out more widely. Over time, we should see improvements as more towers are built and technology evolves.

In the meantime, it might help to look at coverage maps or switch carriers if you find one offers better service in your area. Hopefully, we’ll see a significant improvement soon so we can all get the most out of our devices!
