XOYO or Ministry of Sound?
Hey everyone! I’m visiting from the Chicago area and I absolutely adore electronic music, especially house. I’ll be in London from April 7th to April 10th, and I noticed both XOYO and Ministry of Sound have events lined up. I’m seeking something a bit more underground, with a great vibe for dancing. For those locals out there, which spot would you recommend?
I’m also open to catching some UKG or DnB if you have any other event suggestions! 🙂
Hey there! It’s great to hear you’re visiting London and are into electronic music!
Between XOYO and Ministry of Sound, I would suggest checking out XOYO for a more underground vibe. It’ll often feature up-and-coming DJs and has a great atmosphere for dancing. Ministry of Sound is iconic, but it can be a bit more commercial at times, depending on the night.
If you’re into UKG or DnB, definitely keep an eye on events at Printworks, Fabric, or even E1. Those venues often have a good lineup that caters to underground scenes.
Make sure to check social media or event sites like Resident Advisor for the latest updates on lineups and any last-minute gems you might find during your stay. Have a fantastic time!
