Brief visit to London on October 26th—I’ve booked a few places. Let me know if I made any mistakes, please :)

Exploring London: Planning My October Getaway

Hello fellow travelers!

I’m thrilled to share my upcoming trip to London on October 26, where I’ll be attending a show at the iconic O2 Arena. As part of my adventure, I’ve made some accommodation choices that I’d love your thoughts on!

For the night of the show, I’ve decided to stay at the Pilot, conveniently located nearby. I also booked a couple of other unique spots for my trip. One is at the Princess Royal in Notting Hill, another at the Orange in Belgravia, and the last is at the Grazing Goat in Marylebone.

Given that I’m a heavy sleeper, I figured that opting for smaller accommodations above a pub could add to the charm and experience of my short visit. However, I want to ensure these choices are wise ones!

If you have any suggestions, insights, or recommendations, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Your expertise could help me make this trip even more memorable. Thank you so much for your time!

Looking forward to your responses!

  1. Great choices for your London stay!

It sounds like you’ve picked some fantastic and characterful accommodations that will truly enhance your London experience. Staying in Notting Hill at the Princess Royal is a wonderful choice—such a vibrant neighborhood with lovely cafes, markets, and a charming atmosphere. The Orange in Belgravia offers a central location that’s perfect for exploring more of West London, and Marylebone at the Grazing Goat combines a cozy boutique feel with close proximity to Regent’s Park and Oxford Street.

Since you mentioned being a heavy sleeper and preferring smaller spots above pubs, just ensure that each location offers adequate soundproofing, especially the pub-based ones. Also, if you’re planning to visit popular spots, consider booking some reservations or tickets in advance to avoid long waits. It might also be worthwhile to check if any of these places can provide breakfast options or local tips, enhancing your overall experience.

Enjoy your trip to London—sounds like you’re set to have a memorable time!
