Planning an Overnight Layover at London Heathrow: Hotel Recommendations Needed
Hello, fellow travelers!
I’m gearing up for an upcoming layover at London Heathrow and could use your expertise. My flight is scheduled to arrive at Terminal 3 around 4 PM, and I’ll be departing from Terminal 5 the following morning at 7 AM. With more than 12 hours between flights, I’ll need to collect my luggage from baggage claim and get some well-deserved rest.
Since I’m not looking to explore the city but rather just find a comfortable place to sleep, I’m debating whether to book a hotel near Terminal 5 or stay close to Terminal 3. As I’m not familiar with the airport or its surroundings, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations you might have for hotels in the area.
Your insights will be invaluable in helping me make this layover a bit more enjoyable. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
UPDATE: A big thank you to everyone who responded! I’ve decided to go with the Sofitel!
