Thoughts on changing hotels mid-way through London trip?

Exploring London: Should You Change Hotels Mid-Trip?

Hello, fellow travelers!

As I plan my first trip to London with my partner this coming June, I’d love your insights on a little dilemma we’re facing. We’re gearing up for a week-long adventure in the UK, and we’re contemplating the idea of switching hotels midway through our stay.

Our current plan is to spend the first half of our trip at the Premier Inn London Southwark and then transition to the Premier Inn London City (Aldgate) for the remainder of our time. While I believe that staying in different areas could provide us with a chance to explore various neighborhoods on foot, I’m concerned about whether the hassle of moving will outweigh the benefits.

Do these hotel locations sound appealing for first-time visitors? Is it worthwhile to experience different parts of the city, or would it be easier to settle into one hotel for the entirety of our stay?

I appreciate any thoughts or experiences you can share! I’ll be posting updates as we continue planning our trip. Thanks in advance for your help!
