Exploring London: My October Itinerary and Accommodations
As my visit to London approaches on October 26th, I’m eager to soak in the vibrant atmosphere and enjoy a captivating show at the O2 Arena. While crafting my itinerary, I made a few accommodation choices that I’d love to get some feedback on from fellow travelers.
To enhance my London experience, I’ve planned to spend the night at a cozy spot above The Pilot, conveniently located near the O2. After a night of entertainment, I thought it would be ideal to retire somewhere intimate yet comfortable.
Additionally, I’ve booked stays at three other appealing locations: the Princess Royal in Notting Hill, The Orange in Belgravia, and The Grazing Goat in Marylebone. My choice to stay above a pub stems from my desire for a more intimate setting, especially given my ability to sleep soundly even in noisy environments.
With that said, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions regarding my selections. Have I made wise choices, or should I reconsider my accommodations? Your insights would be greatly appreciated as I look forward to this short adventure in London!
Thank you for taking the time to share your expertise!

Your itinerary sounds fantastic and thoughtfully planned, especially choosing accommodations that provide a cozy, local feel. Staying above pubs like The Pilot and The Grazing Goat can definitely offer a charming and authentic experience—just keep in mind that some pubs may have lively evenings, so if you’re a very light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs.
Since you’re planning to enjoy the O2 Arena and surrounding areas, I’d recommend exploring other nearby attractions such as:
Additionally, if you have time, consider visiting some lesser-known gems like Leighton House Museum in Kensington or the Hampstead Heath area for a peaceful escape from city bustle.
Lastly, booking tickets in advance for popular shows and attractions can save you time, especially during busy weekends. Overall, your choices seem well-suited for a cozy yet authentic London experience. Have a wonderful trip, and enjoy everything this vibrant city
