This afternoon, I had the pleasure of taking a leisurely walk along the South Bank, a vibrant area bustling with activity and stunning views of London. My outing was made even more memorable when I encountered a remarkable sight: the replica of Christopher Columbus’s Santa Maria gracefully gliding beneath the iconic Tower Bridge.
Witnessing this historic vessel navigate through the bridge was a captivating experience, and it was my first opportunity to see the bridge lift to allow the ship to pass. The combination of maritime history and modern engineering truly embodies the spirit of London.
