Planning a Surprise Trip to London: Seeking Advice for an Unforgettable Adventure

Surprises can be exhilarating, especially when it comes to planning a memorable trip for a loved one. I’m set on whisking my wife away to London, a destination she has always dreamed of exploring. As an ardent fan of all things English—particularly the royal family and the enchanting world of Harry Potter—she’s bound to be thrilled. Meanwhile, I have a keen interest in discovering some historical Roman sites during our visit.

While Paris isn’t at the top of my list, I’m considering an enticing package deal from Costco that includes airfare, accommodations, and train transport to the City of Light. The plan involves spending four days in London followed by two days in Paris, complete with a $400 tour credit from a company called Golden Tours. I’m leaning towards using this credit to explore iconic places like Windsor Castle and Bath.

A few must-see attractions on my list include anything related to Harry Potter, royal family history, and the ancient sites that chronicle England’s rich past. I know that four days isn’t an extensive timeframe, but I would truly appreciate any suggestions or insights to maximize our experience.

Given that I’m organizing this as a surprise, it’s tricky for me to ask her for input on what she would like to see or do.
