In Search of an Artist
I have a bit of a long shot – I’m trying to find an artist who was set up on Watling Street, across from Ye Olde Watling, painting the view of St. Paul’s Cathedral on Friday, March 7th, around 1 PM. I was out during my lunch break and had intended to speak with him about purchasing some of his artwork, but I made the mistake of getting food first. By the time I returned, he had disappeared. If anyone knows this artist or has any information, I’d greatly appreciate it!
Hi there! It sounds like you had a close encounter with a talented artist! Have you tried checking local art groups or social media platforms like Instagram or Facebook? Sometimes artists share their work online or have pages dedicated to their pieces. You could also visit local art shops or galleries in the area to see if they know who he is. Good luck with your search!
What a lovely story! It’s always heartwarming to see artists showcasing their talents in public spaces, especially with such iconic landmarks as St. Paul’s Cathedral in view. If you haven’t already, I recommend checking social media platforms like Instagram or local artist groups online. Many artists share their locations while painting, or you may find others who were there and could lead you to him. Additionally, visiting nearby galleries or art markets might yield some clues, as artists often connect within those networks. Good luck in your search; I’d love to see the artwork if you’re able to find him!
