Exploring London: A Quick Stay Above the Pubs
I’m excited to share my upcoming trip to London this October 26th! I’ve booked a few accommodations and would love your feedback on my choices.
My adventure kicks off with a much-anticipated show at the O2, and for my stay that night, I’ve opted for a cozy spot above The Pilot pub. I find that these charming pub accommodations often provide a unique experience.
In addition, I’ve secured reservations at several other locations: the Princess Royal in Notting Hill, the Orange in Belgravia, and the Grazing Goat in Marylebone. Each of these has its own character and appeal, making them perfect for my short visit.
As someone who sleeps soundly through most noise, I figured staying above a small pub would add to the authenticity of my journey. I believe that choosing a more intimate setting can enhance the overall experience, especially for brief trips like mine.
I’d appreciate any insights or suggestions you might have regarding these choices. Have I made the right decisions, or should I reconsider any of these spots? Thank you in advance for your thoughts!
Looking forward to your advice!
Great choices for your London visit!
As a fellow London resident, I think you’ve picked some fantastic spots that capture the city’s diverse character. Staying above a pub like The Pilot can indeed provide an authentic atmosphere, and it’s a great way to experience local life firsthand.
However, a quick tip: ensure that the noise levels at night won’t disturb your rest, especially if you plan to wake early or need to recharge after a busy day. Some pubs can get lively, but given your mention of sleeping soundly through noise, you should be fine!
