About the Service
The trainee stylist, undergoing comprehensive training at Aveda, is preparing for her upcoming certification exam scheduled for September. To achieve this, she is seeking volunteers to serve as model clients for various hair services, including haircuts and color applications.
Service Schedule and Options
- Haircuts: Available every Monday at 9:30 AM, offering styles such as graduated bobs, layered cuts, and short hairstyles.
- Color Treatments: Also on Mondays, starting at 1:30 PM, focusing on tinting and highlighting techniques (please note: balayage and scalp bleaches are not part of these sessions).
Please be aware that these appointment times are fixed and non-negotiable.
Who Is Welcome?
All genders and hair types are encouraged to participate, provided the hair is in good condition suitable for the desired styles or colors. Whether you’re seeking a simple trim or a subtle highlights, your hair’s current health and your styling goals are important considerations.
How to Book
Interested participants should send a first message indicating the desired service, your preferred Monday date, and include clear photographs of your hair. These photos help the trainee assess hair condition, length, and any existing damage. Including inspiration images for color is also highly beneficial.
Pricing and Duration
- Haircuts: £10, with sessions lasting up to three hours due to the training nature.
- Color Treatments: £20 for tints and £30 for half-head highlights. Please note: full-head coloring is not available at this time.
Training sessions take longer than standard appointments to ensure quality and safety, with color appointments potentially occupying an entire afternoon.
Additional Information
- A skin test is legally required for all color treatments. These can be administered as walk-ins at the salon before your scheduled appointment.
- Models benefit from a 30% discount on all Aveda products purchased at the salon.
