While most of my items are just boxes, I do have a few pieces of furniture that require special attention: an IKEA Kallax, a small bookcase, a folding sofa, and a cabinet with sliding glass doors. Since I’ve never moved with furniture before, I’m unsure about the best way to prepare these items for transport.

I think the Kallax, bookcase, and sofa should be relatively straightforward since they’re light and compact. However, I’m particularly concerned about the cabinet because it’s heavier and has glass doors. What’s the best way to ensure it’s properly protected during the move and that the glass doesn’t break, even for such a short drive?
