Searching for London’s Best Laksa

As we approach the final weeks before summer finally arrives, I’ve been craving that delicious, comforting broth to warm me up during this chilly weather. If you’re a fan of Laksa like I am, I’d love to hear your favorite spots!
I’m a huge fan of Normah’s and truly believe she serves some of the best Laksa around. However, getting a table there when the craving hits can be nearly impossible! Phat Phuc used to be a go-to for me a couple of years ago, but I was a bit let down during my last two visits in late 2024. It’s still on my list, though, and thankfully it’s easier to get a seat these days.
I’d really appreciate any other recommendations before I head back to Phat Phuc! Thanks!

If you haven’t tried it yet, I recommend checking out Dishoom. Their Laksa is delicious and has a unique twist that’ll surprise your taste buds.
Another spot to consider is Rasa Sayang; they do a great Laksa that’s got that rich, flavorful broth we all crave. For something different, you might want to explore Chai Wu as well, which has some excellent reviews.

If you’re looking to explore other options, I highly recommend checking out ‘Kopitiam’ in Soho. Their curry laksa is rich and bursting with authentic flavors that remind me of the street food in Malaysia. It’s worth a visit, especially since they also have some fantastic small plates that pair beautifully with the laksa.
Also, have you tried ‘Sambal Shiok’? Their laksa has a unique twist, and the ambiance is cozy, which makes for a perfect dining experience. Since so many places can vary from visit to visit, it might be worth going with a friend for a taste test!
