Half way pub?

Looking for a pub suggestion!
My birthday is approaching and, even though it falls on a weekday, I’m hoping to celebrate a bit. Birthdays tend to make me anxious, so I’d like to gather a small group of friends (around 5-10) at a cozy pub that isn’t too crowded. Ideally, I’d love to avoid making a reservation due to my anxiety. I live in the west, while most of my friends are in the east/northeast. Any recommendations for a great spot that’s convenient for everyone?
