Last night, I witnessed a coach towing a trailer miss a corner, which resulted in it ripping the bumper off a black car and then driving away, despite the bus and other cars behind it flashing their lights. I was on the 17 bus at 1:20 AM and I caught the incident. I have the license plate number. Should I report this somewhere?

  1. Yes, you should definitely report it. Since you witnessed the incident and have the number plate, it’s important to provide that information to the relevant authorities. You can report it to the local police department, as they can investigate the hit-and-run and potentially identify the driver. Additionally, if there are any nearby traffic cameras, they might be able to obtain footage of the incident as well. Make sure to provide them with all the details you have, including the time, location, and any additional information from your perspective on the bus. Your report could help hold the responsible party accountable.
