Pursuing Acting in London
Hello! I’m an 18-year-old with a deep passion for acting and a strong desire to turn it into a career. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, I haven’t had much hands-on experience in the field. However, I’ve just completed school and I’m now fully dedicated to this journey.
My ultimate goal is to attend prestigious drama schools like RADA, Guildhall, or LAMDA. I recognize that it’s a challenging path, but I intend to take it one step at a time. Since I’m still gaining experience, I’m considering starting at an academy or college that doesn’t require auditions, so I can build a solid foundation first.
I also want to enroll in short courses to hone my skills further. As I get more experience, I plan to audition for opportunities like the National Youth Theatre, as well as programs in Italy or ED, and eventually aim for entry into the more distinguished schools with adequate preparation.
What are your thoughts on my plan? Do you have any recommendations for great institutions or courses for each of these stages?
