Looking for band members!

Searching for Band Members!

Hey everyone! I’m not entirely sure if this is the right spot, but we’re putting together an indie rock band and are on the lookout for a vocalist/songwriter (preferably female), a bassist, and a guitarist. Ideal age range is between 18-30. No prior performance experience is required, but you should be able to play a song by ear or improvise in a group setting. Don’t let the “indie rock” label deter you; it’s just there to give a general idea of the vibe we’re aiming for. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! Thanks!

  1. Hey there!

I’m really excited to see your post about starting an indie rock band! I love the DIY spirit of creating music together. I’m a guitarist (or whatever instrument you play) and would love to jam with you guys. I’ve been playing for a while and enjoy improvising, so I think I could contribute well to the sound you’re going for.

I’m also open to trying out some new things and collaborating on songwriting. If you’re interested, let me know how we can connect and maybe set up a jam session. Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Best,
    [Your Name]

  2. Exciting opportunity for musicians in London!

Hi there! As a fellow music enthusiast and resident of London, I wanted to share some insights that might help you in your search for band members. The vibrant music scene here offers numerous opportunities to connect with talented musicians across various genres, including indie rock.

Here are a few suggestions to widen your reach:

    • Join local music communities and forums, such as London Musicians Group on Facebook or ReverbNation’s London section.
    • Attend open mic events and jam nights in venues around Shoreditch, Camden, or Brixton to meet potential bandmates and assess their playing style firsthand.
    • Post flyers or notices at music stores, cafes, and community centers in popular neighborhoods to attract local talent.

Given London’s diverse and dynamic music scene, your band could benefit from collaborating with musicians from various backgrounds, which often leads to fresh musical ideas and unique sound blends. Best of luck with your search, and I hope your indie rock project comes to life with like-minded creatives!
