An Unexpected Halloween Surprise: A Day Made Brighter

As I made my way to Streatham Station, I noticed two young girls from about 50 meters away. They had taken up a peculiar stance, as if preparing for a 100-meter dash, eyes fixed on me with playful intent.

To my surprise, the moment I passed by, they leapt into action. With hoods up on their Adidas jackets, they started trailing behind, cackling with glee and imitating ghostly “Ooooooh” sounds. Their antics brought an unexpected but much-needed burst of laughter to my day.

In a moment when life’s pressures seemed overwhelming, these two spirited youngsters managed to brighten my outlook, gifting me a memory to cherish.
