Exploring the Hidden Treasures of the London Transport Museum Depot in Acton
Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to visit the London Transport Museum Depot in Acton, a rare treat given that it opens its doors to the public just three times a year. This hidden gem boasts an extensive collection of transportation artifacts, many of which are exclusive to this location and not found in the main museum. For those passionate about the history of transportation, this depot is a must-visit destination.
During my visit, I was inspired by the vast array of fascinating exhibits, which prompted me to create a little sketch to capture the experience. Should you have the chance to visit, it’s an enriching experience I highly recommend to any enthusiast or curious traveler!
