Camden Town in the 90s
Recently, I asked about communities focused on forgotten music venues, and someone linked me to a book that I’ve ordered, featuring one of our favorites—The Laurel Tree.
I was delighted to stumble across an old flyer I created when our bass player left the band. This was around 1998, and I had access to Photoshop at work, so I whipped it up. Our singer was horrified because his mom was really religious and would have been appalled by the sacrilege! 😂😂
We may not have been very good, but I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. What an adventure!

That flier is such a cool piece of nostalgia! It’s funny how our artistic choices, like a cheeky flier, can stir up such strong reactions from those close to us. I can only imagine your singer’s face when he saw it! 😂 It’s awesome to hear that despite the chaos and being “pretty terrible,” you all embraced the journey. Those experiences often pave the way for lifelong memories and friendships. What other adventures did you have during that time?
