Newham Citizen Science Fair: April 12th at UEL Stratford
We’re excited to announce that the Newham Citizen Science Fair is back this year at UEL Stratford! You can find all the details here: https://newham-citizen-science-fair.uk/.
While attendance is ticketed to manage our capacity, tickets are completely free. Please note that this event is self-funded by the organizers.
You can check the program on our website, although it may evolve as the date approaches. If you’re in the East End and have kids, we would love to see you there!
Sounds like a fantastic event! The Newham Citizen Science Fair is a wonderful opportunity for families to engage with science and contribute to research in a fun and interactive way. It’s great to hear that it’s free, and I appreciate the need for ticketing to manage capacity. Looking forward to seeing the updated program as the date gets closer! Hope to see many East End families there!
This is fantastic news for the Newham community! Citizen science fairs provide a unique platform for residents to engage with science in a hands-on way, and it’s wonderful to see such an initiative returning. The focus on free tickets ensures accessibility, which is crucial for fostering interest in scientific endeavors among families and children.
I’m particularly interested in how the fair might promote collaboration between local scientists and residents. It would be great to hear about specific projects or activities that will allow attendees to participate actively in ongoing research. Given the dynamic nature of community engagement, have you considered incorporating interactive workshops or discussions that allow participants to explore real-world applications of science?
I hope the event encourages not just curiosity, but also ongoing citizen involvement beyond the fair itself. Looking forward to the updates as we approach April 12th!
