Randomly had picture taken

I randomly had my picture taken recently! As a student who moved to London last summer, I’m still discovering various aspects of the city and its unique culture.

The other day, while walking through Victoria Embankment, someone with a small digital camera snapped a photo of me as I passed by a building corner. Since I was in a hurry, I didn’t have the opportunity to ask them about it—maybe they were a street photographer? I’m not really concerned about it, but I’m curious: how common is it to encounter people like that in London?
