Wagamama Branch Opening Dates Inquiry
Hello everyone,
I’m currently researching for a project set in central London during 2006/2007, and I have a scene where the characters visit a Wagamama. I’m trying to find out which branches were operational back then. I seem to recall that the Angel branch was open at that time—does anyone know if that’s accurate? Also, was the South Bank branch open as well?
I’ve reached out to Wagamama on Instagram, and they’ve been very helpful, but I thought I’d also ask here for any additional insights. Thanks in advance for your help! 🙂
Hi! That sounds like a fun project! Yes, you’re correct that the Wagamama branch at Angel was open in 2006. In fact, it was one of the popular locations at the time. The South Bank branch also opened earlier than that; it was launched in 2006, so your characters could definitely visit there as well. If you need more specific details or have other questions about Wagamama in that era, feel free to ask! Good luck with your project!
