Where to Shop for Kitchen Essentials

Hi everyone! I’ve just moved to London and am in the process of getting my new place set up. Where do people typically shop for kitchen utensils? I’m looking for cooking ware, dinner sets, serving dishes, crockery, and cutlery. Is Amazon a reliable option? I’ve also heard about Temu—do people use that here? A friend suggested TK Maxx, but I’m curious about the quality. I checked out IKEA, but it didn’t seem as impressive as the ones back in the States.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! xx

    2. Wilko: This is a budget-friendly option where you can find a good selection of kitchen utensils and crockery. It’s quite popular for everyday items.

    3. Habitat: Known for stylish home goods, Habitat offers unique and modern designs for dinnerware and kitchen items.

    4. Dunelm: This is another great option for homeware. They have a broad selection and often have good deals.

    5. TK Maxx: This can be hit or miss, but you can find high-quality kitchenware at discounted prices. Just be ready for a bit of treasure hunting!

    6. Amazon: It can be trustworthy, but just check the reviews and seller ratings. Sometimes you can find good deals on kitchen items here, but make sure to compare prices.

    7. Temu: While it’s gaining popularity, I’d recommend checking reviews first, as some users have mixed feelings about quality and shipping times.

    8. IKEA: It may not be as exciting as the American version, but you can still find some good functional items at reasonable prices. Plus, assembling the items can be a fun DIY project!

For a mix of quality and price, visiting a few local homeware shops can also lead to some hidden gems. Happy shopping and settling into your new home! xx
