Do clubs have a last entry time?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been thinking about enjoying a night out next week and plan to hit up two clubs: Phonox and Corsica Studios. This is a bit of a departure for me since I usually stick to one spot, but with some of my favorite DJs performing at both venues on the same night, I couldn’t resist! Plus, they aren’t too far apart (at least by big city standards), so I thought it would be fun to try.

My main question is whether these two clubs—along with other clubs in London—have a “last entry time.” If so, what is it? Typically, I don’t go out later than 1-2 a.m., and I’m curious if there are any rules about entering clubs after a certain hour. Just to clarify, I already have tickets for both events.

I’m leaning towards starting at Phonox and then heading over to Corsica Studios since the party there goes later into the morning.

Thanks in advance for any insights!

EDIT: Just to address the mention of checking ticket details, I purchased my tickets through Resident Advisor and can only access them 24 hours before the event. 🙂

  1. Hey there!

That sounds like an exciting night out! Both Phonox and Corsica Studios have a lively scene, and it’s great that you’re planning to catch your favorite DJs.

Regarding your question about last entry times, both clubs generally adhere to specific policies. Phonox usually allows entry until around 2 a.m., but it can vary depending on the event, so it’s worth checking their social media or website closer to the date. Corsica Studios often has a later last entry time, typically around 3 a.m. If you’re planning to hit Phonox first and then Corsica, you should be fine as long as you arrive at Phonox before that cutoff.

Since you mentioned you bought your tickets through Resident Advisor, make sure to keep an eye out for any updates they might send you regarding entry times for your specific event. Enjoy your night out, and hope you have a fantastic time at both clubs!

  2. Understanding Last Entry Policies at London Clubs

Hi there! As a fellow London local who loves the vibrant nightlife scene, I’d like to share some insights that might help with your plans. Many clubs in London do have a last entry time, which is typically aimed at managing crowd flow and ensuring safety. However, the exact timing can vary quite a bit from venue to venue.

Generally, popular clubs like Phonox and Corsica Studios tend to stop admitting new guests anywhere between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. These times are often specified on their official websites or social media pages, so it’s worth checking closer to your visit. Since you’re planning to start at Phonox and then move on to Corsica Studios, here are some points to keep in mind:

    • Check the venue’s official policies: Many clubs post their last entry time online or include it in their FAQs.
    • Arriving early: To avoid any hassle, arriving a bit earlier than the last admission time can help ensure you get in without issues.
    • Door policies: Entrance cutoffs can sometimes be flexible if the club isn’t at capacity, but don’t rely on this—arriving early is your safest bet.
    • Special events or busy nights: Last entry times might
