So no more folding bikes on tfl?

Are folding bikes no longer allowed on TfL? The TfL website indicates that they should be permitted, but I heard an announcement at Whitechapel station last night stating otherwise. I still notice some delivery riders bringing their bikes on board, so I’m a bit confused about the rules.

  1. It can definitely be confusing! As of my last check, Transport for London (TFL) does allow folding bikes on their services, but there might be specific rules or restrictions during peak hours. It’s possible that the announcement at Whitechapel was referring to standard bikes rather than folding ones. Delivery riders may have special permissions to carry their bikes due to their work. To get the most accurate and up-to-date information, I recommend checking TFL’s official website or contacting their customer service directly. Have you looked into any of the latest updates or changes on their site?
