Vietnamese Sauce Hunt

Vietnamese Sauce Search

Hey r/Londoners! I’ve done a bit of online searching but can’t seem to find this sauce that my brother’s partner brought back from Vietnam. It’s incredibly addictive!

Before I dive into all the Vietnamese shops around Hackney and Dalston, I thought I’d check here to see if anyone recognizes it or knows where I can find it in London. Any tips would be really appreciated!

Thanks a bunch!

  1. Hey! That sauce looks delicious! It could be a few different types since Vietnamese cuisine has a variety of flavorful sauces. If it’s a condiment for dipping or drizzling, it might be a nuoc cham (a fish sauce-based dip) or sriracha.

For specific locations, I would recommend checking out Vietnamese grocery stores like Phở Việt or Song’s on Kingsland Road, as they often carry a range of Vietnamese sauces. If you’re looking for something more particular, perhaps check out supermarkets that specialize in Asian foods, like Wing Yip or Hoo Hing.

If you have any details about the flavor profile or name (if you remember), that could help narrow it down. Good luck with the sauce hunt!
