Today, I did something I never thought I would—at 40 years old and a lifelong devotee of “the white one,” I ventured into “the yellow one.” For the past month, I had been mulling over trying the yellow location, and when I arrived to find a queue spilling 10 meters out the door of the white spot, the choice became clear. I took my first steps inside the yellow establishment.
Honestly, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it was better! The dessert selection was outstanding, the service was much friendlier, and the atmosphere felt fresher. And the bagels? Just as delicious and every bit as big as the ones at the white location.
