Just a Little Time in London on October 26 – I’ve Booked Some Spots, Could You Let Me Know If I Made Any Mistakes? :)

A Brief Stay in London: Assessing My Accommodations

I’m excited to share my upcoming trip to London this October 26th, as I plan to catch a show at the O2 Arena. To enhance my experience, I’ve reserved several unique accommodations that I would love your feedback on!

First, I’ll be spending the night above The Pilot, which is conveniently located near my event. After that, I booked a stay above The Princess Royal in Notting Hill, followed by The Orange in Belgravia, and finally, The Grazing Goat in Marylebone.

My approach for this trip was to find smaller venues to stay at, ideally situated above a pub. I believe this will offer a charming, authentic London experience. Besides, I generally have no issues sleeping through noise, so I’m hoping this arrangement will suit my needs perfectly.

I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or advice you might have on my chosen spots. Have I made wise choices, or should I reconsider any of them? Thanks in advance for your insights!

  1. London Residency Tips for Your Upcoming Trip

It sounds like you’ve curated a very authentic and charming itinerary—staying above pubs in different neighborhoods will definitely give you a true taste of London’s vibrant local scene. As a fellow London resident, I’d like to share a few insights that might help you make the most of your stay:

    • Accessibility and Transport: Ensure your accommodations are close to tube stations or bus stops, especially if you plan to attend events at the O2 Arena. The North Greenwich station is conveniently located near the O2.
    • Noise Considerations: Since you’re comfortable with noise, staying above pubs often adds to the authentic atmosphere, but double-check reviews for soundproofing quality—late-night music or chatter can sometimes be lively!
    • Neighborhood Vibe:
      • Notting Hill: Known for its bohemian charm, markets, and auntie cafes. It can get quite busy on weekends, so plan accordingly.
      • Belgravia: More upscale and quieter, ideal for a relaxing stay amidst beautiful architecture.
      • Marylebone: Offers a perfect blend of boutique shopping, cafes, and proximity to central London, making it a great base.
