Last minute (Friday evening for a check-in on a Sunday – and no one from Blueground works on a Saturday) I was informed that our flat was not available, we were put in another flat smaller (90 instead of 130 sq meters), cheaper, more far from Lisbon, on the 2nd floor with no lift (ideal when you have lots of luggage), then finally after 6 days delay we enter into the flat we booked for 6 months, and it was incredibly dirty, we had to clean ourselves the entire flat, and of course despite all of this I have been told “While we won’t be providing monetary compensation” . Not again Blueground.
Wow that sounds really awful – I don’t think they can refuse compensation if they have not provided the expected service!
