Looking for Fadil – got my phone back from a thief in Waterloo

A Heartfelt Thank You: Seeking Fadil, the Good Samaritan of Waterloo

Sometimes, a small act of kindness can make a significant impact in our lives. This is a story that highlights the power of community and the extraordinary people among us.

On the night of Thursday, May 15th, at approximately 10:30 PM, I experienced a frightening incident right outside Waterloo station. While waiting for my train, a thief snatched my phone directly from my hand. In a moment of panic, I instinctively pursued him on his bicycle, shouting for help. Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep pace with him, and I was forced to abandon the chase.

Arriving home later that evening, I was both disheartened and overwhelmed. However, my spirits were lifted when I learned from the police that a remarkable individual named Fadil had come to my aid. This kind soul managed to recover my stolen phone and took the initiative to turn it into the authorities. Thanks to Fadil’s selfless act, my phone was returned to me.

The police provided me with his contact number, but due to a missing digit, I have been unable to reach out to express my gratitude. It is incredibly important to me that I find Fadil to tell him how much his kindness meant during such a stressful time.

This post is a long shot, but I’m hoping the power of social media and community support will help reunite me with this hero. If anyone has any information that could help me reconnect with Fadil, please reach out. Your assistance is greatly appreciated as I wish to convey my heartfelt thanks for his incredible act of generosity.

In times of distress, it’s the goodness of others that shines through, and I’m grateful to have crossed paths with someone like Fadil. Together, let’s celebrate those who go out of their way to help others!
