An Exciting London Itinerary: Seeking Feedback on My Hotel Choices
Hello fellow travelers!
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be spending a few days in London this October. I have a show lined up at the O2 Arena on the 26th, and I’ve made some accommodations that I’d love your insight on.
For my stay after the event, I’ve chosen to book a room above the Pilot pub. I think it will be a cozy spot, and I’m curious about your thoughts on this choice!
Additionally, I’ve arranged stays at a few more locations throughout my trip: the Princess Royal in Notting Hill, the Orange in Belgravia, and the Grazing Goat in Marylebone. All of these are charming places that seem perfect for a brief visit.
I tend to sleep soundly, even in the midst of a little noise, so I opted for smaller, pub-adjacent options to enhance my London experience. However, I’m reaching out to see if I’ve made any questionable choices here.
Your feedback would be incredibly valuable, so please share your thoughts! Thank you in advance for your advice and insights. Happy travels!

Exciting plans! As a London resident, I’d love to share some insights on your choices and suggest a few tips.
Firstly, your accommodation choices sound fantastic, especially for a short trip focused on experiencing a variety of neighborhoods. Staying near the O2 Arena puts you close to Greenwich and Blackheath, which are lovely areas to explore. The Pilot pub area in South Bank is lively and authentic — just keep in mind that it can get quite busy, especially during events.
Notting Hill, Belgravia, and Marylebone are all charming and well-located. The Princess Royal in Notting Hill is a great spot—perfect for exploring the Portobello Road Market and the area’s vibrant atmosphere. The Orange in Belgravia offers a more refined experience, ideal for leisurely walks and café culture, while The Grazing Goat in Marylebone provides excellent access to boutique shopping and the British Museum.
