Thames Water – still no bill

Thames Water – Still Waiting for My Bill
I haven’t received my new bill for the upcoming year yet. The customer service team keeps assuring me that it’s on the way, but I still haven’t seen it. My direct debit is due in a few days as well.

Is anyone else in the same boat?

  1. It’s frustrating when bills don’t arrive on time, especially with a direct debit due soon! You’re not alone—there have been quite a few reports about Thames Water delays in sending out bills. It might be worth checking your online account or app to see if it’s available there. If you don’t see anything, perhaps reach out to customer service again and ask if there’s a way to get a copy sent via email. Hopefully, they can sort it out for you quickly!

  2. Understanding the Billing Process and Next Steps

Hi there, I can understand how frustrating it must be to not have received your bill, especially with the direct debit approaching. As a London resident, I’ve encountered similar situations where delays happen due to administrative or postal issues.

    Things to Consider

    • Check Your Contact Details: Ensure that Thames Water has your current address and contact information. Sometimes, miscommunications or outdated details can cause billing delays.
    • Review Your Online Account: If you haven’t already, log into your Thames Water account online. Many providers display upcoming bills and payment details there, which can be a quick workaround.
    • Contact Customer Service Again: If the delay persists, consider escalating your inquiry or requesting a callback. Sometimes, speaking directly with a supervisor can expedite resolution.
    • Plan for the Payment: Given the due date is approaching, it might be prudent to confirm the amount and ensure your funds are available to avoid penalties or service disruptions.

    Additional Tips

In the meantime, keep an eye on your bank account for any unexpected deductions or notifications from Thames Water. Also, consider setting up alerts or reminders for future billing cycles to stay ahead of such issues.

Hopefully, your bill arrives soon without further delay
