Title: Seeking Musicians to Form a Progressive Metal Band Inspired by Mastodon and Beyond in London
Are you passionate about heavy, progressive music and eager to collaborate on creating something original? I am a London-based musician looking to assemble a band that channels the energy and complexity of bands like Mastodon, Tool, Soundgarden, and their peers. If you thrive on intricate rhythms, groove-heavy riffs, and dynamic compositions that combine raw power with texture and experimentation, I’d love to connect.
About Me:
I am a guitarist and record producer with a collection of riffs and a demo ready to share. My musical influences center around heavy, riff-driven, and progressive acts that push the boundaries of sound and structure. My goal is to develop a band that emphasizes chemistry and shared passion over strict adherence to formal theory, fostering a creative environment where ideas can flourish.
What I’m Looking For:
I am seeking talented musicians for various roles, including:
- Rhythm section players (bass and drums)
- Guitarists who enjoy layered, heavy sounds
- Vocalists interested in dynamic, aggressive, or experimental singing styles
While age is not a strict criterion, being in your early 20s to 30s might facilitate easier scheduling and rehearsal planning.
If you’re a fan of Mastodon, Tool, Melvins, or similar bands within the prog, stoner, and alternative metal genres, and you’re excited about exploring new musical ideas together, I encourage you to reach out. Let’s jam, exchange ideas, and see if our musical visions align.
Interested? Feel free to contact me—I’m eager to start this journey with like-minded musicians who are passionate about creating innovative and powerful music.
