Day 2 Progress Update: 125 km Conquered of 250 km Challenge
Greetings, readers! Today marks the second day of an extraordinary journey, and I’m excited to share my progress with you. After encountering some issues with post moderation—hence the playful disguise of a horse photo at the beginning—I hope this update finds you well. For a visual reference, I’ve included a Strava snapshot on the second slide, showcasing the route through the charming outskirts of London, dotted with some adorable horses.
As of 5:00 PM today, I have successfully covered 125 kilometers. The night has been particularly challenging, testing my endurance and resilience. Surprisingly, my knee — which previously posed some concerns — feels better than during my last walk, giving me renewed confidence to continue. However, I am battling blistered feet and measures of fatigue. Fortunately, thanks to some thoughtful planning and support from Martin, I am better prepared this time around.
My goal is to reach 150 kilometers by midnight tonight. The plan is to push through the remaining distance with determination, aiming to complete the final 100 kilometers tomorrow and secure victory in this challenge by arriving at Cardiff Central.
Throughout this journey, I am operating with minimal sleep—just brief stops every 50 km lasting about 1-2 hours for nourishment and route adjustments with Martin. These moments of rest are vital to maintain my momentum.
For those interested in real-time updates and behind-the-scenes footage, I am sharing live videos and more on WhatsApp. Feeling fortunate to have made it this far, I remain motivated to conquer the next 125 km and beyond.
Thank you for your support and encouragement. Stay tuned for more updates as I continue this remarkable adventure!
