This July, a meaningful step towards fostering inclusivity and authentic connection will be taken as Shoulder to Shoulder, a dedicated men’s community based in London, is proud to participate in the renowned Pride in London parade. This milestone reflects a broader commitment to creating spaces where all men, regardless of their background or identity, feel seen and supported.
About Shoulder to Shoulder
Founded by Tom and Dan, Shoulder to Shoulder (S2S) is a predominantly straight men’s community committed to exploring topics such as emotional well-being, connection, and personal growth. While the group mainly comprises men who identify as straight, its core philosophy emphasizes that the journey toward vulnerability and authenticity is universal—transcending sexual orientation, ethnicity, or faith.
Why Our Participation Matters
Spaces like Pride can sometimes feel unfamiliar or intimidating to many men, particularly those who haven’t traditionally seen themselves represented or welcomed. Yet, this very feeling of discomfort is a vital reason why men’s communities should be present at such events.
Participation in Pride serves as a powerful acknowledgment: authentic masculinity includes vulnerability, empathy, and openness.
