Walking 10 Miles Around London in a Furby Sandwich Board: An Unforgettable Adventure and Exciting Announcement

Sometimes, creativity and dedication lead us on unexpected journeys—literally. Recently, I embarked on a unique adventure through the heart of London, walking an impressive 10 miles sporting a homemade Furby sandwich board. While the journey was fun and memorable, the physical aftermath has been less glamorous—a blister on the bottom of my fourth toe serves as a small souvenir of the trek.

The Creative Process Behind the Furby Sandwich Board

The Furby costume was more than just a quirky idea; it was a heartfelt craft project. The ensemble was assembled using an old Primark hoodie, a Sainsbury’s shopping bag, a surplus of hot glue, and a substantial amount of cardboard. To add some fluff, I used a recycled pillow as stuffing—embodying the spirit of resourcefulness and DIY enthusiasm. The entire costume was powered by sheer optimism and a passion for blending fun with performance.

Why the Long Walk?

The walk wasn’t just about the novelty of wearing a Furby around London—it was a demonstration of perseverance and commitment to a creative endeavor. It also served as a unique way to engage with the city, combining performance art with personal challenge.

Exciting News: My New Show Is Coming Soon!

On a different note, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been developing a new show over the past few months. After months of preparation, it’s finally debuting this Friday and Saturday at the Canal Café Theatre. It’s a project close to my heart, and I would love for you to come and experience it firsthand.

In Conclusion

Whether it’s walking miles in a homemade costume or creating new artistic projects, embracing the unconventional can lead to rewarding experiences—and great stories. If you’re in London this weekend, I’d be delighted to see you at the performance. Thank you for reading, and here’s to more creative adventures ahead!
